Bill DeVore has been a Chamber member since he opened the doors of his business, thirteen years ago. He currently serves on the Transportation and Member Mentor committees. “My life has been blessed, and it’s my time to ‘give something’ back. I choose to do it through the West Shore Chamber because their values and sense of community are perfectly aligned with what I feel is important in my life... My business has grown due to Chamber involvement.”

At the West Shore Chamber’s 2007 Annual Meeting, Bill received the George C. Hoopy Award. This honor is one of the Chamber’s most prestigious awards, named for Lemoyne businessman George C. Hoopy, a founding father who passed away in 2007. With this important award, Bill was recognized for his exemplary service to the Chamber in his many years of membership.

Bill is a member of the Cumberland Valley School Board and also devotes his time to Habitat for Humanity, the Veteran’s Resource Board, Cumberland Perry Vo-Tech, and serves as an instructor for Junior Achievement. Busy as he is, he and his wife and business partner, Donna, have also raised four daughters. Bill unwinds through reading, woodworking and walking.
