     Phil Shenk has spent his entire life in central Pennsylvania. He graduated from Cedar Cliff High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Penn State University. “Central Pennsylvania,” Phil says, “is a great place to raise a family. It is a community that has planned for the future, where faith, family and friends are an integral part.”

     Phil joined the Chamber because he believed it was time to give back to his community. In addition to serving on the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Phil is an active member of the Golf Committee. His love of sports carries through in all he does. He is President of Shenk Athletic Equipment Company and, during his “off” time, enjoys skiing, running, tennis, and football. Phil is Secretary of the Harrisburg Riverboat Society and coaches New Cumberland Youth Baseball. He also considers the West Shore Chamber members a “team.” “It is a good place to meet fellow professionals”, Phil says. “Together, everyone achieves more.”
