Vice President and Photographer - The Camera Box

Tammy Shearer, Vice President and Photographer for The Camera Box, is a dedicated businesswoman with a passion for community involvement, philanthropic activities, and the Chamber.  As a small business owner and community leader she is "aware of the pertinent issues facing our community, employers and taxpayers."  Tammy serves on the Board because "as a Chamber, we can offer solutions to many problems facing the west shore and central Pennsylvania region."

Tammy is involved in the Chamber Education and Strategic Planning Committee.  She is the Vice-Chair of Governmental Affairs and the Chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee.  Her committee participation provides her with " a venue to express my views and bring matters to the attention of public and local government officials."  Additionally, Tammy provides many beautiful photographs of events as a service to the Chamber and fellow members, who enjoy them in Connections, the monthly Chamber newsletter.  Tammy is also involved with the Cumberland County Economic Development Board, Cumberland County Commission for Women, Susquehanna University Alumni Board, and Executive Women International.

As a professional, Tammy has been honored as a Central Penn Business Journal "PA 50 Best Women in Business 2008," and received previous honors as a Central Penn Business Journal "40 under 40" winner 2003, Susquehanna University Young Alumna of the Year 2004, and a member of the MS Leadership Class of 2003.  Tammy's commitment to business and the community illustrates that she upholds Chamber values as a friendly, principled, connected, and professional member.
