Events

Mixers - Free events hosted by members and include food, beverages, and plenty of business to business networking.

Spotlight Events – Allow members to build relationships in a more intimate atmosphere while learning about sponsor member businesses.  Every attendee gets to step into the spotlight and deliver a “30-second commercial” about their business.

Business & Industry Night - This is the largest Chamber  event of the year.  This business expo allows exhibitors and attendees three hours of elbow-to-elbow networking.  Last year more than 1,100 attendees enjoyed this themed event.

Economic Forecast – A professional economist presents a recap of the year and insights for the future at this member-exclusive event.  This event provides information on the nation, state and area’s  projected economic status through the coming year.

Special Events – Many special events take place throughout the year.  A special event can be created by a committee, an idea from a member, or a need in the community, etc.  The best way to find out about Chamber events is to read the newsletter, sign up for email reminders, and check the events calendar often.

Committees

Committees are a catalyst for promoting, connecting, and serving the community through solving problems facing area businesses.  The Chamber’s committees are diverse and plentiful, so join ones that appeal to your interests!

Credibility

Display your West Shore Chamber of Commerce plaque to show that you are a friendly, principled, professional, and connected member of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce. 

Place a West Shore Chamber Member static sticker on your front door or car window to let others know you support the business community.

When anyone requests information about a certain business, or category the Chamber makes recommendations of members only.  Each time the Chamber refers your business you are contacted.

Target Those Relocating

Many people who are relocating to our area rely on the West Shore Chamber of Commerce for information on trusted businesses in the community.  Chamber relocation packets include a copy of the membership directory and useful community resources.

Connections newsletter is a monthly publication of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce.  It is an informational resource distributed to area newcomers, current and prospective members.  Connections keeps you informed about fellow members, events, committees, legislative issues, and much more.
